I never fully understood what "mansplaining" was until I encountered ChatGPT.

If you ask ChatGPT any question, you will need artificial intelligence to summarize the long-winded response response in plain English.

Otherwise, you're scrolling through the equivalent of a government report to find the answer to the question you initially asked.

It can't even respond to a simple "thank you," without giving a 1,000-word explanation.

If you have ever asked ChatGPT for advice, directions or even a simple question and been left more confused than when you started, pull up a chair. I'm just getting started.

I bought a ticket to see my granddaughter in a play, entered all my information, printed it myself and somehow paid extra for doing their job.

The theater called it a "convenience fee." The truth is these aren't convenience fees. They're "because we can" fees.

By the time you're done with all their silly fees, your $25 ticket costs $42.

Today, I want to know why companies charge us more when we're saving them money.

I just wanted to pump gas in peace, for two minutes

But, apparently, even that is too much to ask in modern America.

Now the gas pump has a television screen yelling commercials at me while I’m standing outside watching my bank account evaporate one gallon at a time.

I’m already paying enough for the gas. I don’t need a tiny gas station game show host trying to sell me beef jerky, lottery tickets and a rewards card while I’m trapped holding the nozzle.

A man ought to be able to fill his tank without being advertised to like a captive raccoon.
